After completing an honours Diploma Course in Physical Therapy in the early 1990's, I commenced work with Sports teams in the Midlands, the most notable being Stradbally footballers (County Champions 2016) Carlow Senior hurling and football teams, Castletown hurling teams, Moate senior football team, Rathvilly football teams, Myshall hurling Club and Nenagh Eire Og hurlers. I have also had the pleasure of working with the Leinster Railway Cup footballers, the Munster Ladies footballers and the Irish Olympic Boxing squad.
I was honoured by Laois GAA, www.laoisgaa.ie through their Manager Colm Brown, to be invited on board the County senior football backroom team, as head Physical Therapist, in 2001 and I served under five Laois GAA hurling Managers since 2003 as lead Physical Therapist to both the Senior and U/21 squads.

In my younger years I was part of the successful 'Town' football team of the Mid 70's and 80's, and I also wore the 'Blue and White' with great pride for a few years.

My daughter Fiona works in the Health Care area as a Chartered Physiotherapist in the National Rehabilitation Hospital, Dun Laoghaire and my second daughter, Eimear, is pursuing her Physiotherapy career in Cambridge UK.
